Maaha
Last updated: 20/10/2026
Welcome to Maaha. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and any order you place with us. By browsing our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before ordering.
In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Maaha, and “you” and “your” refer to you, the customer.
1. About Us
Maaha is a brand based in the UK.
• Address: Unit 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE
• Email: info@maahahaircare.co.uk
• Registered in England and Wales, company number 16788310
2. Using Our Site
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to place an order with us. We may refuse or cancel an order if we reasonably believe it has been placed by someone under 18 without appropriate consent.
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when placing an order, and to keep any account details secure.
3. Our Products
We describe our products as accurately as we can, but please note:
• Colours, textures and finishes shown on our website may vary slightly from the actual product due to screen settings and photography.
• Our products are handmade in small batches using natural ingredients. Minor variations in colour, scent or texture between batches are normal and are not considered faults.
• Full ingredients lists are provided on our packaging and/or product pages. Please check these carefully if you have known allergies or sensitivities.
• We always recommend carrying out a patch test before first use.
• We reserve the right to discontinue, reformulate or change the packaging of any product at any time.
4. Prices and Payment
• All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP).
• We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added to our prices.
• We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct. If we discover a genuine pricing error after you’ve ordered, we’ll contact you before processing the order to confirm whether you’d like to proceed at the corrected price or cancel.
• Any mandatory charges, including delivery costs, are shown clearly before you complete payment. Nothing is added at the final step that wasn’t disclosed earlier in checkout.
• Payment is taken in full at checkout, using the payment methods listed on our site.
5. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you’ll receive an order confirmation by email. This confirms we’ve received your order but does not mean we’ve accepted it. Our acceptance of your order, and the point at which a contract is formed between us, happens when we dispatch it.
We may decline or cancel an order at any point before dispatch, for example if an item is out of stock, if we identify a pricing or listing error, or if we suspect fraudulent activity. If this happens, we’ll let you know and refund any payment already taken in full.
6. Delivery
We currently only deliver within the United Kingdom.
Delivery costs and estimated timeframes are set out in our Shipping Policy. Estimated delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, except where we’ve offered a specific guaranteed delivery window (for example, a named next day service), in which case that guarantee is stated clearly at checkout.
Risk in your order (for example, if it’s lost or damaged in transit) remains with us until it’s in your physical possession, since we choose the courier.
7. Your Right to Cancel
If you’re a consumer ordering from within the UK, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Full details of how to cancel, and any conditions that apply, are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Cancelling your order doesn’t affect your other statutory rights, including your rights if an item is faulty.
8. Faulty or Misdescribed Items
If an item you receive is faulty, damaged or doesn’t match its description, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances. See our Returns & Refunds Policy for how to report a problem with your order.
9. Discount Codes and Promotions
• Discount codes must be applied at checkout. We’re unable to apply a code retroactively to an order that’s already been placed.
• Only one discount code can be used per order, unless we say otherwise.
• We may withdraw, amend or restrict the use of any discount code or promotion at any time.
10. Reviews and Content You Share
If you leave a review or share content about our products, you confirm it reflects your genuine, honest experience. We don’t publish, commission or incentivise fake or misleading reviews, and we take reasonable steps to check that reviews on our site are genuine.
By submitting a review or other content, you give us permission to use, reproduce and display it in connection with promoting our products, unless you tell us otherwise.
11. Complaints
If something’s gone wrong, please get in touch. See our Complaints Procedure for how to raise an issue and what happens if we’re unable to resolve it between us.
12. Our Liability to You
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law.
We are only responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these Terms or of our negligence. We are not responsible for loss or damage that wasn’t foreseeable, or for any loss of profits or business.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos and product photography, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use it without our permission.
14. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse our website, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access to it, introducing malicious code, or using it for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose.
15. Privacy
Any personal information you give us is handled in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, and your rights over it.
16. Events Outside Our Control
We won’t be responsible for any delay or failure to perform our obligations if it’s caused by something outside our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, courier disruption or industrial action. We’ll let you know as soon as possible if this affects your order.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes apply to orders placed after the updated Terms are published. They won’t affect orders you’ve already placed.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, without affecting your right as a consumer to bring a claim in your local courts.
